Course Overview:
This foundational paper is designed to equip pupil-teachers with a scientific understanding of the learner, the learning process, and the learning situation. By bridging the gap between psychological theory and classroom practice, students will move beyond intuition to evidence-based instructional effectiveness.
Core Objectives:
- To understand the scientific nature and core methods of Educational Psychology, including Introspection, Observation, and Experimental methods.
- To analyze the dimensions of human development (Physical, Cognitive, Emotional, Social, and Moral) during childhood and adolescence.
- To develop a critical understanding of Learning Theories, comparing behavioral approaches (Pavlov, Skinner, Thorndike) with cognitive approaches (Gestalt, Bruner, Gagne).
- To master the assessment of Intelligence, Creativity, and Personality, while fostering balanced mental health and hygiene in the classroom.

- Unit II: Learning Nature, Domains, and Theories.
- Unit III: Intelligence, IQ Measurement, and Techniques of Fostering Creativity.
- Unit IV: Personality Determinants, Mental Health Principles, and Defense Mechanisms.
The E-Learning Model: Following the Four-Quadrant MOOC framework, this course integrates:
- Video Tutorials: Expert lectures on complex psychological concepts.
